I can completely understand the ban but I feel that a perm ban for what was otherwise a complete accident caused by an attempted joke is, well, unneeded. I will be much happier taking a few day long ban for my lag causing joke that I did not do out of malice, but instead was done out of unknown ignorance.  Have you been in trouble before? Not that I believe.
