Started playing again Yesterday. I understand things have changed since 2014.[/color]
[color=#c0392b]Provide a RP example of a UCA unit fighting a lone rebel in an apartment building.[/color]
**UCA:C45-UNION.TU.703196 is chasing a resistance unit down the street, towards a UHC. Making sure to keep on his tail and not lose sight of him. Seven Zero Three follows him to the stairs of the building before taking his USP out and aiming it at the doors which the resistance unit just ran through. Flicking the safety off without breaking eye contact from the double door entry to the building, Seven Zero Three presses his radio's call button and speaks into it: "Dispatch, This is Seven Zero Three, Confirmed sighting of suspect, My 10-20 is UHC external stairway, Suspects location within in the building is unknown, Clear to engage?"
**Dispatch responds: "10-4 Seven Zero Three, Additional Officer's have been dispatched to your location and are on their way."
**UCA:C45-UNION.TU.703196 says: "10-4" before unpressing the call button on his radio. Seven Zero Three walks slowly up the stairwell and over to the window. Seven Zero Three leans against the wall next to the window and begins peaking through the window, He spots the resistance member hiding behind the main counter of the UHC.
**UCA:C45-UNION.TU.703196 would proceed to watch the resistance member peak up and unload a whole mag of MP-7 bullets into the doors, hoping to kill any UCA Units. Seven Zero Three in pure reaction stood back from the window and opened fire, 2 shots, one landing in the suspect's shoulder, knocking him back in pain and the other landing in the front of the counter. Seven Zero Three would retreat down the stairs where his back up had arrived. Weapons ready, the squadron moved in to detain the man.

**UCA:C45-UNION.TU.703196 is currently patrolling District 2 alone when he spots two civillians, one is older than the other. The younger man is obviously angry with the other. All seems fine, just a regular argument until the younger man throws the older man into a wall, knocking him unconscious.
**UCA:C45-UNION.TU.703196 proceeds to draw his stun baton, setting it to high. Seven Zero Three approaches the angered man whom is ready to kick the unconscious man in the head. Seven Zero Three taps the man's right shoulder and proceeds to hit him in the torso once. The young man reactively backed up and mumbled a couple of words: "Aa-Ahg, Look... I know it seems bad but I can explain."
**UCA:C45-UNION.TU.703196 proceeds to point to the wall, yelling "Up against the wall now, Citizen." The young man knew what he was dealing with so he did what he was told. Seven Zero Three proceeded to search the man, looking for any contraband before moving the man's hands behind his back and proceeding to ziptie them.
**UCA:C45-UNION.TU.703196 presses the call button on his radio: "Dispatch, Seven Zero Three detaining a Citizen for assualt on a fellow citizen, bringing him to the Nexus now" Seven Zero Three would follow by grabbing the mans arm and hauling him off the the Nexus.

Jackson's life was simple yet interesting, at a young age his father ran a Motorcycle Club out of town and Jackson would help by being the club's little mascot for his dad. His dad was quite a peaceful man, he never got himself involved in any crime and usually abided by the law like any normal person would. Jackson loved his father, he thought of him as a hero, not for his actions but for his attitude to life. Sadly, his dad died at the age of 57 from Cardiac Arrest after multiple heart problems in his later years. Jackson wasn't destroyed but he was hurt, knowing that at the age of 23 he had no one else. He was a single child and his mother had left at a young age. Jackson kept positive as he grew older, taking after his father in his positive attitude.
During his time in his later years, around the age of 29 the Seven Hour War struck. At the time he was working as a nurse in a local hospital, tending to patients basic medical needs. When the Combine attacked the hospital he was working in was targeted by a Combine Squadron, The combine swarmed the building with manhacks. Jackson's quick thinking saved a couple patient's lives when he used medical cabinets to block the windows and doors until the manhacks were recalled. Jackson held up in the building until the Combine frontline pushed forward, helping the patient's until he was fine to exit the building.
After that day, Jackson realised that although his quick thinking saved lives, he could of saved many more.
Jackson went into training for the UCA in City 11, well known as Edinburgh, Scotland. During his time in City 11 he was trained in hand to hand combat and sharpshooting. Jackson was unsure of how the higher rankings worked in the UCA and was obviously met with a surprise when a high ranking officer regarded him as a well trained unit. Well trained enough to be shipped off where he was needed, City 45.
Jackson, still positive in attitude and strong in will now works in City 45 as one of the newer officers, being considered quite friendly among the UCA.

I wish to join the UCA for a couple reasons,
1. Although I love being a citizen and for most of my time in HL2RP been a citizen for a good while, I wish to see what it's like from the Combines perspective. I feel like this would improve my RP Skills and give me a better understanding of the environment that I am currently situated in on the server.
2. I believe that the server should have a lot of UCA units as this allows for an IC hierarchy to be established better. While we do have Combine Administration, I do believe that if the UCA alone had a proper hierarchy established from a large amount of players that this would make RP more diverse.

Jackson would bring all prior medical knowledge he has in his days as a Nurse and his specialised training as a sharpshooter from City 11 into the force, not only his skills but also positive and uplifting attitude which should improve the morale of all his fellow units and friends. His hand-to-hand combat skills would also assist the UCA greatly as most of their trainee's happen to only use taser's to disarm suspects.

The Universal Union means everything to Jackson, It's his next step in life, assisting those whom he once couldn't help. He wishes to see a better world, away from horrid rebellion and crime. It is his new calling, a new start and a new oppurtunity all packed into one nice package.
